Aidan Conlon is a native of Geevagh. His book, "A History of Geevagh Parish 1500 - 1800", describes the way people in the Geevagh area lived during a period of great economic, social and political change in Ireland. His talk will cover aspects of Geevagh's heritage which includes our landscape, buildings, work & play, farming practices, rural technologies, clothing & footwear as well as food & drink in the period from 1500 to 1800.
