Fife Heritage Railway, Leven
13 September 2025 (11:00 - 16:00) 14 September 2025 (11:00 - 16:00) The Fife Heritage Railway is in Leven and is home to steam, diesel and electric rolling stock from all over the UK and further afield. The volunteers at this railway work hard to maintain their fleet and to provide fun days out to members of the public each year. At our doors open event visitors will get the chance to go behind the scenes and see just how challenging it can be to run the FHR, they will also get the chance to learn about our history and the future for the railway. As well as this our electric multiple unit class 313121 will be on display in our station platform, the unit will be open all day for visitors to walk through, the drivers cab will also be displayed! There will also be a FREE shuttle bus in operation from Kirkcaldy/Methilhill/Leven to make reaching the event easier. You will be able to find all the information for this event on our Facebook page and website closer to the time of the event using the links on this page. The volunteers at the FHR look forward to welcoming you to this event. We will also be operating a vintage shuttle bus from the nearby new Cameron Bridge train station, where free parking is available.
