Aperçu

13 September 2025 (09:00 - 17:00) Arniston House is a magnificent Palladian style manor house by William Adam, commissioned in 1726 nestled at the heart of the working rural estate. Featuring stunning architecture, stucco works, a beautiful collection of art, furnishing and portraits by renown artists such as Raeburn, Ramsay and Alexander Nasmyth, a tour of Arniston an experience of history, beauty and creativity. For Doors Open Days we are offering guided tours of Arniston House starting on the hour at 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm. The Orangery cafe will be open from 9am to 5pm with all proceeds going to the local AA group. To access the ground floor of the house, we then have a chair climber fitted with our own manual wheelchair for the 10 steps up to the ground floor. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate any motorised wheelchairs. We are offering refreshments in the Orangery. This has limited access as there are 3 steps to access the building.
