On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the association of the "Pignerolle Bunkers Memorial" proposes: Free visit of the Pignerolle bunkers throughout the weekend without prior reservation.

• Exhibition in the Orangerie entitled "School and resistance: from dark days to the aftermath of the Liberation 1940-1945".
• Exhibition in the Orangerie entitled 'resisting through art and culture 1940-1945'.
• Presentation of a virtual visit on a touchscreen of the admiral bunker in free access.
• Presentation of a film from personal archives showing the liberation of Angers and the Angevins in the fervour of May 8, 1945 liberated!
• Conference on the significant battles of the Allied navy on the French Atlantic coast and in the North Sea 1940-1943 (only on Saturday 20/09 at 3 PM) by Patrice Villeneuve.
• Exhibition of models and dioramas of ships, submersibles and submarines that participated in landings and various fights on the seas during the Second World War.
• Presentation of dioramas on the first and second world war. The diorama concerning the Second World War will present the Pathfinder parachute drop during the night of August 5 to 6, 1944, during which about a hundred volunteer paratroopers from the 82nd and 101st airborn were parachuted behind the German lines into the Normandy bombing. with the mission to mark, with the help of recent Eureka beacons or simple luminous torches, the different drop zones for the bulk of the airborne troops parachuted a few hours later by the C47 and the Waco planners. These volunteers are the first allies to have set foot on French soil.
• Exhibition of the Maison de l'Europe d'Angers/Maine-et-Loire on the theme of the beginnings of European construction and the great figures who marked this construction.
