The Loire marine museum invites you to (re)discover the history of the castle of Châteauneuf-sur-Loire. City Hall since 1925, it was formerly a royal castle then ducal, a manorial residence, a princely residence then a bourgeois property. Its architecture has undergone numerous rearrangements and vicissitudes over the centuries. The digital restitutions visible in the exhibition "Châteauneuf-sur-Loire, its restored castle" illustrate the castle at different moments of its history, allowing to better understand its evolution.
