🌿 Guided tours of the new mill in Preignac

The members of the Association Moulin neuf and Patrimoines invite you to discover the Moulin Neuf, located in the Lagarengue district in Preignac.

Nestled on a dead arm of the Ciron, this mill, forgotten since its closure in the years 1850-1860 linked to the construction of the railway line Bordeaux-Toulouse, is reborn thanks to an association created in 2014. For 10 years, volunteers have been meeting every week to restore, maintain and enhance this centuries-old heritage, mentioned as early as 1536 during the reign of Francis I. During the guided tours, you will follow the chronology of the works carried out and, at the end of the course, enjoy surprise animations while enjoying a glass of Sauternes du Vieux Moulin, in a bucolic setting.
