At the Tuilerie, art/craft/design exchanges continue with vibrancy on a daily basis, between the 15 art workshops located in this ceramics factory founded in 1836, between Aix en Gardanne. We are happy to share with you our know-how in workshop visits, punctuated by several highlights: On Saturday at 5 PM, Patrick ZYGMANOWSKI offers us piano pieces by Ravel and Satie. Passionate and eclectic artist, Patrick ZYGMANOWSKI gives his first recital at the age of 11 and since then travels to the biggest concert halls of the five continents. He holds two first prizes (piano and chamber music) from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris as well as a laureate of the very selective program of the 3rd cycle training the best French soloists. He has also won several international awards. On Sunday at 3:30 PM, an exceptional Conference "from Art Nouveau to Art Deco, and art invites itself to the table", by Evelyne POSSEME, honorary chief curator of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris. It offers us to deepen an initiatory journey to understand the differences between Art Nouveau and Art Deco, and discover the richness and diversity of the artistic production of these movements, particularly related to tableware. On Saturday at 11am and 4pm, on Sunday at 11am and 5pm, the historical visits of the Tuilerie. And throughout the weekend, the exhibition "A Banquet". The exhibition hall of the Tuilerie will become a place for sharing, the joy of being together, by being transformed into a "Banquet" room. Will be gathered around a table, a mat, a cushion all the attributes of commensality, these thousand objects and decorations of happiness to share the same table. It is a collective action that mobilizes all the residents of the Tuilerie Bossy in their very place. With a surprise guest: Fabrice SERAFINO, vanning artist, who will join us on this occasion.
