The visitor at the reception will receive a document on the history and archaeological site of Bagatelle. Books (published by L'Harmattan) on the Puyo family and Tristan Corbière who lived in this place, will be presented as well as some portraits referring to it. The chapel will open its doors on its statues, then the visitor can compare the front courtyard with that overlooking the garden and perhaps count the number of openings to the light that are there. The French garden will offer its paths of flowers and small boxwood. The signposted park will indicate a route to find a Gallo-Roman and a Roman post as well as to be able to find some benches to contemplate the height and impressive beauty of its trees. The castle of Bagatelle, listed in the inventory of Historical Monuments, is appreciated for its charm, its gaiety, its romanticism and its bicentennial trees.
