The Château du Livet was built between 1859 and 1861 by the Viscountess Olga Simard de Pitray, daughter of the Countess of Ségur, on the site of an old 17th century castle whose tower remains. A guided tour of the Château will allow you to learn more about its history associated with that of the well-known Comtesse de Ségur in the region and discover an authentic decoration with its period furniture, woodwork, alcoves and some original tapestries. A complete visit of the castle by the owners in small groups is offered during these two days and a free discovery of the park on 11 hectares with its facilities, pond and remarkable trees (Tulipwood, Giant Sequoias, Oaks, Cedar of Lebanon...).
