Aperçu
Installed in 2011 in a former rural building in Carsac-Aillac, the Masonic lodge underwent a complete renovation in 2022. This contemporary temple is harmoniously inscribed in the fabric of the Périgord noir, near the prehistoric and medieval sites characteristic of the town. The visit takes place in two stages:
- Focus on material and symbols Exhibition of historical tools (square, compass...) and explanation of their symbolic value in Masonic architecture. Presentation of the fundamentals: the organization of a lodge, its role and its uses within local heritage.
- Discovery of the temple Guided tour of the interior space: layout, symbols inscribed on the wall, specific furniture. Concrete illustration of uses: meetings, ceremonies (named “held”), and their place in the heritage identity of the building
- Mobility Impairment
