The garden surrounds a house built with stones from the demolition of the royal Cistercian abbey of Longvilliers. It provides the setting for an exhibition to discover the history and heritage of Longvilliers, its castle, its ancient abbey, its listed church, its mills, from different documents. The traditions of the village and its life in the 20th century are also presented.
