Summary of François Adeline’s creative journey: From 1996 to 2017, he reproduced on scale several facades and stained glass windows of a church as well as a medieval fort door. He also contributed to the preservation of vernacular heritage: bread ovens, mariettes, wash house, pigeon-house, etc From 2017 to 2025, he detached himself from reproduction in order to devote himself to canvas sculpture, using building materials such as brick, clay, metal, glass, etc. ; while drawing inspiration from the surrounding decor and local history. An artistic way to redevelop the memory of the Norman walls and his own. The cultural heritage of the Forge de Saint Etienne, brought back to life by François Adeline, will be told through the writings of the Genty family and along the Franco-Norman border. NB: The forge of Saint Etienne will also be open for the National Days of Artists on September 13 and 14, 2025 (from 9am to 7pm) as well as the «workshop/ show room» by François Adeline - 39 Grande Rue - 27570 Tillières-sur-Avre, in which fifty works of yesterday and today will surprise you.
