A rare building
Did you know that the Saint-Germain church in Paris, which became a town hall-church in the Restoration, is, by this double function, a real rarity in France? Generally closed, the doors of this decidedly ecumenical building open only once a quarter or so, to accommodate a Protestant cult, and irregularly for Catholic masses of marriage, baptism or funeral. You will be welcomed by a (e) volunteer who will give you the documentation allowing you to discover the detailed history of this unusual place with rural and peaceful charm, and to discover the objects of yesteryear: - In the Town Hall: bust of Marianne, election material from the time the town hall was still functioning. - In the Church: polychrome wood statue, chasubles, lectern QR code available on the town hall door and inside the church also allows you to follow, via your smartphone, the audioguided tour of the chapel offered by wiguide.com Informations Free admission
