Le Portique presents the exhibition Blue Oyster Cult... If the title is a reference to the mythical American group of the 70s, also known as the acronym BÖC, it also evokes one of the favorite materials of Richard Fauguet... the oyster shell. The artist’s work is expressed in various mediums: drawings, collages, rubbing, sculptures etc. His work is based on art history and subculture and likes to mix references borrowed from different universes, thus creating a singular and often offbeat dialogue. A vast and original production, as evidenced by the Havraise exhibition. I go from the familiar to move things and produce quick associations that give rise to collages.
