Heritage Concert Tribute to New Orleans jazz The "Millyssissipi Jazz Band" is a gathering of "local" musicians who have been experienced for many years with prestigious restaurants such as Paul Bocuse, Le Fouquet’s, Carré des Feuillants etc. They have appeared on numerous occasions for 10 years in the Pullman Orient Express. Their festive repertoire (New Orleans jazz, French variety) pays tribute to famous musicians such as Sidney Bechet, Fat’s Waller, Louis Armstrong and the traditional tunes of New Orleans, with some unexpected winks to French and Caribbean musicians. This orchestra will take you into the 30s/50s of St-Germain-des-Prés where jazz invaded the streets and cabarets to dance, sing, and communicate its joie de vivre. Classified as a heritage of regional interest, the Romanesque church built in the 11th century is one of the oldest in the department of Essonne.
