The culinary art is not a modern fact, there was, during Antiquity, a great culture of the table and a certain attraction for good little dishes. Today, mainly known thanks to the gastronome Apicius and his recipe book «De re coquinaria», the cuisine of the Empire proves to be particularly tasty, bold and curious. We invite you to enter the kitchen of our ancestors and discover what was there. Did they eat strawberries or tomatoes? Was boar on the menu? Did bread have a place of choice during the meal? Nothing simpler than to make a basket yourself on our market stall.
