The castle of Ormesson, historic domain in the same family since 1630, opens its doors exceptionally to the public on the occasion of the European days of the heritage. Guided tours of the castle and its main reception rooms will allow visitors to discover this high place of French literary tradition which today holds the largest private archive in France. Olivier d'Ormesson, Judge-Rapporteur of the trial of Fouquet, Diderot, Madame de Sévigné, Marshal Lyautey, the King of Morocco, Pope John XXIII and the latest to date Count Wladimir d'Ormesson, Ambassador to the Holy See ... the greatest authors, parliamentarians, diplomats and academicians have lived in or frequented these places. 2025 also marks the centenary of the Golf d'Ormesson, specific access to a retrospective is possible through the castle park.
