The exhibitions present the results of archival research on the lordship of Moulins and the excavations of the motte, erected at the beginning of the 11th century and used until the Hundred Years' War, the ditch of its farmyard, as well as the potter’s workshop that preceded it (10th-early 11th century). The objects are accompanied by contemporary miniatures showing their use in comparable contexts. A map of the town is available to visitors who can complete their visit of the exhibition with a tour of the town and its medieval elements: motte, church, stately homes. Accessibility
