Aperçu
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, come and discover the Romanesque church of Saint-Maur, which was built in the 11th century, during a free or partly commented visit, in the afternoon. In 1133, the church was cited as a possession of the monastery of Baume-les-Messieurs by the Archbishop of Besançon. The monastic buildings built to the south of the church have disappeared. The choir of the church is composed of two vaulted bays set up in the 17th century, and topped by a tower. The church has been classified as a Historic Monument since 1934. Informations Open participation.
