HISTORY AND HERITAGE OF VILLIERS-SOUS-GREZ In 2018, the Regional Natural Park of Gâtinais Français had established an inventory of the heritage of Villiers-sous-Grez. In the month of October 2024, a new association 'Histoire et Patrimoine de Villiers-sous-Grez' takes up this approach and as its name suggests, it extends it by including the history of the village. Its social object is centered on the one hand on the development, exploitation and provision of archives that concern the small and large history of the village and, on the other hand on the preservation of its heritage. History and Heritage of Villiers-sous-Grez also intends to facilitate the funding of the restoration of the church, classified as a historic monument in 1908, by organizing events that will be an opportunity to collect donations. Our action will start with the guided tour of our 13th century church, organized for the European Heritage Days on September 20 and 21, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. To this end, it approaches the Heritage Foundation whose help would be invaluable.
