Guided tour of the Saint-Lupien chapel

Come and discover the Saint-Lupien chapel, a place whose history begins in antiquity, through the guided tour of the Saint-Lupien chapel proposed by Rezé Histoire! Built in the late 15th or early 16th century, the chapel was part of a larger priory whose other buildings have now disappeared. It is based on much older foundations, revealed by archaeological excavations carried out between 2010 and 2016: the basement houses traces of a continuous occupation from antiquity to the present day! During the visit, discover this archaeological mille-feuille and go through the history of the chapel classified as a Historic Monument in 1986 for its exceptional basement!
