Theme for 2024: Routes, networks and connections - Onderweg!

Every year in the second weekend of September, thousands of beautiful monuments throughout the Netherlands are accessible to everyone for free. Open Monument Day 2024 will take place on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 September. The theme is 'Routes, Networks and Connections', which provides room for countless possibilities for creative programming. A promising prospect for people who plan to go out during Open Monument Day this year. The host municipality for the national opening – on the Friday preceding the weekend – will be announced at a later stage.
